Like most of the country, we've had such a blazing hot summer so far, I'm ready for a nice cool down.
I love fall for many reasons, but one of them is cozy long-sleeved t-shirts and jeans, hoodies and the return of my always-present-in-fall-and-winter Birkenstock clogs.
A few days ago I was doing some online window shopping for some cute fall (maternity) clothes. The trouble is, I'm in a tricky situation. It really won't get cool here until October, and I'm due November 2nd. I won't need many fall clothes that fit the belly. On the other hand, I know I won't fit into my regular fall clothes for a while, and even when they do "fit", I probably won't feel very confident wearing them. What's a girl to do?
I get so excited to start fall shopping this time of year. Something as simple as a long-sleeved t-shirt can get me anxious for fall.

And of course I'm stalking all of my favorite websites for the new fall baby clothes. I can't wait to dress Bruce in super cozy one-pieces like this.

And since all of my other choices have been boring gray (what can I say? I like gray!) here's a pop of color.

Trust me, baby boy's closet is already full of color.
In summary, I am ready for all things fall, including meeting this mysterious boy known as Bruce.
(By the way, it is killing my mom not knowing his name. We were talking to the preacher at the church we visited last Sunday and he asked what the baby's name will be. I couldn't tell this nice man that I just met, "Sorry, I can't tell you because no one can know" so we told him. It felt really strange, but good at the same time. I haven't told my mom that someone knows, though. She would be so jealous.)

I'm so ready for fall. The beautiful weather we get, the beautiful scenery, the mountain breezes... it just makes me smile thinking about it!
Here's hoping fall comes sooner than later for us :) (This heat is also killing me and Darla.)
