35 weeks

How far along:  35 weeks 

How big is baby: approximately 5.25 pounds and over 18 inches long

Weight gain: approximately 22-23 pounds total. 

Stretch marks: none

Sleep: Isaac is having sleep issues again this week, but other than that my sleep has been ok.

Cravings/aversions: none

Maternity clothes: feeling comfy in my new larger clothes. I have also officially taken over one of Rodney's t-shirts to wear around the house. It just barely covers the bottom of my belly, but it's nice and loose and feels good.

Movement: he's getting lower and lower. I feel the majority of movement in the middle and low, and rarely feel anything high, especially not the unpleasant rib kicks that many women complain about. He's got something wedged down near my left hip bone. I feel him down there a lot. I've been told twice this week that I've dropped, but I really don't think he's made a true "drop" yet.

What I'm loving: getting closer to the end and meeting this little guy

Symptoms: nothing major this week. I have noticed that I get super worn out from even a simple shopping trip. I think that was my last week to go to the grocery store. I'll be sending Rodney and Isaac from now on.

What I'm looking forward to: seeing this baby's face. I've been wondering a lot if he'll look like Isaac.

Best moment of the week: Rodney slept on the couch so he could tend to Isaac's nighttime wakings and let me get some sleep last night. Of course Isaac slept all night with no issues, but it was such a sweet thing to do and Rodney wouldn't let me argue about it.

How I'm feeling: Honestly, kind of anxious. I really feel this strong urge to get everything ready to bring him home, but I can't yet. I have 3 "showers" in July with different (small) groups of people, and although I'll probably get mostly diapers and wipes (as in common in my group of friends for second babies), I don't know if I'll get other stuff or not so I hesitate to buy anything yet. I am so ready to finish checking everything off our list and get it set up and ready to go.

Other than that, I'm just so excited to meet this baby!
