R and I have become more active since Cash joined our family. We spend several hours outside each evening exercising the puppy and making sure he is good and tired. We would love to find a park where we can take Cash while we walk or run or enjoy the great outdoors in a setting away from our backyard.
We have recently discovered that no animals are allowed in any of the city parks. None. And heaven forbid that there actually be a dog park where our dog can be social with other dogs. There are 2 county parks where we can take Cash, but they are farther away and are more like hiking trails around the lake. That's fine too, but not exactly what we were looking for.
In our old city there was an especially nice park that we used to visit often. We used it for tossing our frisbee in a large open field, but it had lots of nice walking trails that were very dog friendly. There was even a separate dog park attached to the general park. Oh how I miss thee, old city.
