I love our Dyson. We received it as a wedding gift from R's cousin who lived in our house before we did. She knew that we would need a super-duper vacuum cleaner to stand up to all of the carpet in this house (every single room has carpet except the laundry room). Royal blue carpet does not stand up very well to white and gray cats.
There is one attachment that came with our Dyson that we use all the time. It is perfect for removing cat hair from furniture, curtains, and comforters. My job got easier last week when R's parents bought a new Dyson for themselves and gave us their magic pet hair attachment. It is almost 3 times as long as our old one. I actually enjoying vacuuming up cat hair now.
In other news, our new grill is up and running. We used it for the first time this weekend, making some wonderful steak and corn. We used it again last night for hamburgers and hot dogs. It's not too special, but it's just perfect for us right now.
