randomness

There is so much I want to write about but I either start a post and don't finish it or I sit down to start one and don't know where to start, so I'll throw it all into one.

After my doctor's appointment last week Rodney and I went to Target to pick up a few things for Isaac's new room. We are making the big switch this week, maybe weekend. We're still waiting for the curtains to arrive, but other than that I think everything else is finally ready. We're slowly getting him adjusted to his new big boy bed by reading our bedtime stories there at night before going to bed in the crib, and he seems to like it so far. I'm not sure how sleeping will go, but I'm just crossing my fingers and saying lots of prayers. I'll have pictures soon once everything is totally finished.

There are big changes happening at our church. After a 13 year vision and 2 year building process, we finally moved into our new sanctuary (worship center) today. It is amazing and I'm so excited to see Isaac grow up there. In 3 weeks we will be welcoming a new pastor when our current pastor retires after 34 years of service to our church. Everyone is excited and anxious for the new guy and the awesome changes God is working in our church. Yesterday the baby was extra quiet during Sunday School, but as soon as I sat down in the new sanctuary he started bouncing around. He could feel my excitement.

Isaac just turned 2.5 and I really want to sit down and write a whole update post for him, but the task seems so daunting. I really want to remember my sweet boy at this age. He says the funniest things now and remembers everything you tell him. I could probably write a whole post on my feelings about adding another child too, but that one is still floating around in my head and I have no idea where to begin there.
