19 weeks

Um...wow. I'm almost halfway done.

I don't think I've mentioned that we're calling the baby Bruce for now. I have no idea where it came from, Rodney came up with Bruce Wayne one day, but now we just shorten it to Bruce. Although my mom will still call and ask how Bruce Wayne is doing.

Things are progressing nicely. My linea nigra showed up last week, and my trips to the bathroom are becoming more and more frequent. Yep, sounds about right.

I have a regular appointment with my OB after my ultrasound on Friday, and I cannot wait to discuss my stubborn sore throat with her. This is day 6, and although it seems to be getting slightly better, I just don't know what's causing it. I don't have a fever, and I don't have any other symptoms, so at first I thought it could be allergies, but I think I've ruled that out. My newest guess is acid reflux, which graced me with its presence yesterday and today. I really hope she has some insight for me. If nothing else, I'm hoping that the salty, humid beach air will take care of everything while we're on vacation next week.

Oh, I almost forgot. I think I felt little Bruce move for the first time last week. I was getting impatient waiting to feel something, anything, and even though it is so light and faint, I've felt it a few times now, so surely that's what it is. I'm still waiting on the big movements, the kicks, but I know they will come in time. Patience has never been a strong point of mine.
