Meet the kittens

Meet our new arrivals...

Elliott
Elliott is the shy one of the group. When I climb into the kitten area (a section of the room blocked off by a baby gate, a cardboard box, and some wooden boxes) I instanty have 4 little fuzzy bodies climbing all over me, but sweet little Elliott isn't quite there yet. He hangs back and just watches and might come sniff me after a few minutes. He does play with the others, but he also likes to chill by himself in the box.

Eleanor (Ellie)
Ellie is the only girl out of the five. She is one of the first to climb on me as soon as I sit down. She also has a ferocious appetite. I call her little diva because she can be quite demanding when it comes to food and attention.

Louis (aka Louie, Lou)
Lou is sort of in between outgoing and shy like Elliott. He can usually be found splitting his time between visiting with me and resting in the box. As you can see, that gate is not going to hold them in much longer. If I had to guess which one would climb over first, I would say Louis.

Dwight K. Schrute
We are huge fans of The Office and we just had to name one of the kittens after an Office character. (Rodney wanted to name them all after the characters but I vetoed that one. Pam and Jim? No, thank you). This guy is my best friend and loves to be on me.

Ozzy
Ozzy is a special guy. He is the biggest crybaby of the bunch and I think had the hardest time adjusting to life without mom. He wouldn't eat anything during the first 2 meals we fed them. The third meal came and he dove in head first. He cries constantly if we're in the room but not in the kitty enclosure, but will stop when you pick him up. He just needs a little extra love.

Someone asked yesterday if we are going to keep any. Unfortunately, 2 cats is our limit and there is no room at the inn. Plus, I'm not sure Zeus and Sophie would take well to new housemates (10 months later, they've finally accepted their new brother, Cash). They are separated right now for health reasons and will probably never meet.
I hope you don't mind seeing the occassional kitten picture thrown in with the regular awesome pet pics. I'm trying to limit the photo shoots to one a day, otherwise I would have a million cute kitten pictures, and I really don't need a million.
I kind of have a favorite (oops!), but I love them all. Which one is your favorite?

A favorite? I don't think I could pick just one.

I can't pick a favorite, but love that you named one Dwight. How sweet!
