We happened upon some tickets to our local AA minor league baseball team's game last night and couldn't resist the opportunity to sit in a suite with free food. R's mom got the hookup through her job and brought us along for the ride.
The Tennessee Smokies were playing a double header against the Huntsville Stars. We arrived halfway through the first game and had plenty of time to stuff our faces with food before the second game started. They lost the first game in the last inning, and three hours later they lost the second game in extra innings. Both games were within their reach, but they just fell short. The seems to sum up Tennessee sports in general. The games seemed to drag on, but we stuck it out for the fireworks at the end. I was pleasantly surprised how well our camera did with the fireworks, so much better than R's camera did last 4th of July.
