Weekend recap

Why does the weekend go by so fast? I feel like I blink my eyes and all of a sudden it's Monday again.

We spent a very rainy Saturday helping some puppies get to their new homes. We drove in a transport for a rescue group sending puppies from west TN to NJ. We had the pleasure of meeting one-year-old big boy McGraw and 10-week-old Shasta. She was so fluffy and soft, I just wanted to take her home with us.

Sunday we made the drive up to see my parents (which we've now started doing almost every other Sunday). We normally go to church with them and have lunch together, but yesterday we overslept and only made it for lunch and stayed a little longer than normal. Cash loves my parents and they love him, but unfortunately their cats do not feel the same way. One runs and hides and one stalks poor C the whole time we're there.

We also picked up Mario Kart for the Wii on our way home since we couldn't find it in our town. The rest of the night was spent playing that, first playing with each other, then battling it out for bragging rights.

Oh, and how could I forget? My mom gave us the Girl Scout cookies she ordered for us. Can you believe I haven't opened the boxes yet?

Tonight I have a date with the Bachelor and I have a feeling those GS cookies will tag along.
