Isaac was 2 days shy of one year old on his first Halloween. It was definitely more fun than if he had only been a few months old, but still a typical "first Halloween". His second Halloween, last year, was pretty puny since we were all either recovering from a virus, in the middle of it, or about to get it. This year was much much better. We invited some friends to come trick-or-treat with us in our neighborhood and it couldn't have been any more exciting. The boys had a blast!

The weather could not have been more perfect. After collecting some candy we came back home to eat a piece or two, then the boys went outside and played with glowsticks until past their bedtimes. It felt like a warm summer night. I went to bed so happy and thankful for a sweet little boy who I get to experience life with.
Up next in my favorite week of the year...Isaac's 3rd birthday!
