- Levi is still taking naps in the rock n play or swing, and sleeps in the pack n play at night, swaddled for all sleeping. We have tried him in the crib twice overnight and both times he has wiggled so much that he has broken his arms out of the miracle blanket, something that has never happened in the pack n play. Weird. He gets so mad when his arms are loose and has to be fed to be calmed down. We decided we need to start moving toward unswaddling, and that needs to start with naps. In my mind that means we also need to get him in the crib for naps too, so today I chose the nap that I cared the least if it was short and just went for it. He woke up at his typical "end of sleep cycle 40 minute mark" but I quickly popped his pacifier back in and he kept sleeping, one hour and 45 minutes total! I was shocked and hope it continues to go well as I add more crib naps per day.
- Rodney and I have decided to forego Christmas presents for each other this year and instead go on a weekend getaway in December. I never thought I was a bed & breakfast kind of person but Rodney convinced me to do something different, and we booked it today. I am so excited! The countdown is on!
- I do all the laundry in this house, and I don't mind a bit, but Rodney has this habit that drives me crazy. When he takes off his white undershirts they get turned inside out and he throws them in the hamper that way. I guess this has been happening for years and it has never bothered me, but for some reason it bothers me now. I think because I have one extra person to care for and one extra person's clothes to wash and fold. I recently told him that I was no longer going to turn his shirts right side out when I folded them. They go into the washer, come out of the dryer, and get folded inside out. He can either turn them right side out when he takes them off or when he puts them on but I'm done. Does that make me an awful wife or does it just make me more efficient with my laundry? Today 7 out of 15 shirts were inside out.
- I have no makeup on in this picture, but it was a cute moment so I asked Rodney to take a picture. I hate that you can't see Levi's face but he was laid back "talking" to me and Isaac was enjoying the moment as well.
- Isaac woke up this morning with a slightly stuffy nose and my throat has been sore this afternoon. I hope we're not getting hit with another round of crud. :( This sick season is for the birds. Is it April yet?
