You've heard me mention several times my sister-in-law who is pregnant with Bruce's cousin. She was due October 26th, just one week before me. For several weeks she was dealing with high blood pressure that wasn't being controlled enough with rest and medication, so her doctor induced her yesterday at 38 weeks.
Less than 4.5 hours after they broke her water, little miss Brinkley entered the world. In about 45 minutes she went from 5-6 centimeters to fully dilated, and her doctor just barely made it in time to deliver little B.
Big brother Corbin was pretty enamored by his new little sister at first, but decided he was kind of over it after a long day at the hospital. I get to see Brinkley again tomorrow and Rodney gets to meet her then for the first time. I can't wait!
