25 weeks

Why is it that I can feel myself getting bigger and I see it in the mirror, but I can't see it in my weekly photos? With only 5'3" of height, I can tell that my belly is slowly starting to run out of room. I dealt with some rib pain earlier this week, but most of the time he is pretty low, so it hasn't been a problem lately. Unfortunately, I think this will be an issue as he gets bigger and really runs out of room.

I got back on the treadmill yesterday for the first time since the test turned positive. I have really been meaning to start back lately but my motivation came last week when my doctor told me walking every day could help my sugar issues and my blood pressure (which is usually on the high end of normal). I need to do this for myself and for my son. I started slow, but I have to admit it felt good to do it.

This morning Rodney kissed me goodbye while I was half-asleep like he always does, then leaned down to my belly and told Bruce goodbye too. It was the perfect way to start my day. It makes my heart melt to see Rodney so excited about our son. He loves picking things out for the nursery and talking about all the games they will play together in the next few years. He's going to be such a great dad, and I can't wait to see the two of them together.

I registered for childbirth classes today that start in August, which is only 2 weeks away. The sad part was, I didn't even realize it was 2 weeks away until Rodney mentioned it. Time is flying by!

How do you guys manage taking these adorable pictures of yourselves? I can never get my whole face and belly in all in one pic, what's my deal? haha :-) I wish I was showing that much, then I wouldn't just feel fat. I'm almost 19 weeks along, so I'm about 6 behind you! Anyway, good luck.
