The Blind Side

We had a fantastic weekend, but I'll post about that tomorrow. For now, I want to tell you about the movie we saw today.

I'm sure by now you've heard about The Blind Side. Earlier this year, Rodney heard the story that this movie is based on. It's a very touching story and we were excited to hear it was being made into a movie. Throw in a side story about football and we're sold.

It was nice for us to see some legends of SEC football make some appearances, including former UT coach Philip Fulmer. Fulmer sort of got pushed out of UT last year in not the best circumstances, but we don't have any hard feelings. One of the best lines of the movie came from Sandra Bullock's character, telling her son he could play football for Tennessee if he wanted and she would come to every game, but she wouldn't wear "any of that gaudy orange". Yes, it's gaudy, but we wear it proudly.

I would definitely recommend this movie to everyone, even if you're not a football fan.
