weekend recap

Well, we survived our rainy Saturday. The heavens opened up and poured down all day, right up until about 20 minutes before kickoff. It didn't matter to us since our seats were covered, but I'm glad the players and rest of the crowd didn't have to deal with that.

I spent Sunday thinking about the fact that fall is here. I sent R up to the attic to pull down my fall decorations, then we went to Yankee Candle to pick out a new fall scent. I think my husband enjoys burning candles more than I do. He spends a lot of time in our home office in the evenings studying for the CPA exam, and he likes a nice candle to go along with that. So he picked out a pumpkin pie candle, which I agreed with. Interesting tidbit...I hate the taste of pumpkin pie but I quite enjoy the smell of it.

I also picked up some potpourri/vase filler stuff for a vase thing that my MIL bought me a few months ago. (I am not feeling very articulate tonight, can you tell?)

I'm going to finish autumn-izing my house tomorrow and hopefully do a post about that soon.

How's R doing studying for the CPA exam? What parts has he taken? I need to get my butt in gear and start studying... I want to start taking it next year.
