The Biggest Loser

A change is coming in our house. Well, it's already here. Thanks to Rodney's suggestion, we are now living a healthy lifestyle, at least for the next 2 weeks.

We are leaving for the beach in 16 days and Rodney wants us to eat right and exercise to see if we can tell a difference by the time we leave. Really I think he just want to jump-start my exercise, which, as of 2 days ago, was non-existent.

R and I are the opposite as far as eating/exercise. He works out hard-core 6 mornings a week but eats horribly when he comes home from work. He eats 3/4 of what I fix for dinner and he likes to snack while we're watching tv, and his weight pretty much stays the same. I don't eat too bad, but I don't exercise at all and I manage to keep my weight constant.

Yesterday I hopped on the elliptical and felt so much better when I was done. Then last night we went outside and shot some basketball like we usually do, but I really pushed myself more than usual. It feels good to do something for yourself.

I've always hated exercise, enough to keep me away from it. I'm hoping that I can keep it up and the results will motivate me to keep going.

Good luck! M and I are trying to get fit for our vacay too. Hope we all get to see some good results soon.
