Progress

Shopping actually went well on Saturday. I bought 3 pairs of shorts and a sweater just like what I was looking for. It's pretty rare for me to find what I'm looking for. I did not find any sandals I liked. My feet pretty much only see flip flops in the summer, so it's hard to find anything else I like.

Yesterday was a productive day. It was very sunny and warm so while Rodney shot some basketball outside, I primed and painted a bench that I have been working on. It's an old piano bench that used to be my mom's, then we painted it when I was in college to use in my apartment. I haven't used it in several years, so I wanted to repaint it to match our bedroom now. Sanding it was a bigger task than I anticipated, I think I'm just not very crafty. Anyway, as soon as I got one coat of paint on and walked away to get Rodney, a bug decided to land right on the top. I was not happy. I put it away for the night and will have to see what I can do with it today. Hopefully I can fix it pretty easily.
