fall fun

Even though summer has come to an end and we're well into fall, we're still having wonderful warm temperatures, so we have been able to spend a lot of time outside. We go to the park usually every Tuesday and Thursday after Mother's Day Out.

A few days ago our best friends came over for some outside playtime, water table play, followed by run around the back deck in a diaper time. The boys had a blast!

We had our second annual bonfire at Rodney's parents' farm with our church group last weekend. We started the tradition last year and I hope it will continue for many years to come. Isaac is such a farm boy at heart and was right at home.

Yesterday we went to a friend's birthday party at the pumpkin patch. I didn't get many pictures, and it was dark by the time we actually made it to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins, but he had a blast. His favorite part was definitely the sand box filled with corn. It's a good thing too, because he's getting a sandbox for his birthday.

In fact, this was the same pumpkin patch/farm that we went to almost 2 years ago to the day when I was very pregnant.

Can I admit something? By this point in the year I'm so sick of warm weather. I'm sick of cold mornings and hot afternoons. Next week is supposed to be much colder and I'm super excited!
