Twenty months sounds so much closer to 2 than ever before!
Isaac got 2 new teeth this month, his lower right canine and upper left canine.
Isaac's personality has bloomed even more this month. He comes up with something funny every day. He loves to talk about hair and loves to find brushes and combs to use on his hair (or mine).
He has recently started climbing more and especially loves climbing up onto the couch. He loves to run the length of the couch and flop on the pillows when you're not paying attention, but he has also discovered that watching Mickey Mouse from the couch is pretty fun too.
Isaac will let you know when he's not happy with you, and makes a horrible scrunched up face to show you. I can't help but laugh every time he does it.
He finally learned the word NO this month, except it sounds like "doe". Just like Isaac was a great mirror for how often I say "ok", he has shown me how I often say "no no no" instead of just one firm "no". Again, it's pretty funny for now. When I tell him he can't do something (even when I just use one "no"), he'll shake his head and say "doe doe doe".
He loves to pull his little wagon around the house and throw things inside of it.
Isaac is still in a big daddy phase, and one of their favorite things to do is wrestle around on the floor.
Isaac loves playing in water. While he hasn't been in any big pools, we spend lots of time playing in our small pool, water table, and running through the sprinklers.
We also took our first trip to the local splash pad this month. He watched the big kids play for just a minute before he ran right in.
I helped with Vacation Bible School at church the last week of June, and although Isaac was too young to go to a class of his own, he was able to go to his regular class with the other young children of the teachers. He had the best week of his life! He normally fusses for a minute when we drop him off at church on Sundays, but this week he actually walked into his classroom by himself and told me bye-bye.
We love you, big boy!
