randomness

We went to the same place we always do to get our Christmas tree a couple of weeks ago.  Last year was the first year we went without my brother and SIL and this year was the first year we went without my mom, as she volunteered to stay home with Isaac.  According to the timestamps on my camera, it was 11 minutes from when we got there and when we picked our trees.  Rodney and I chose ours quickly and I think Dad chose his even faster.  This proves what we already knew...mom takes way too long to choose a Christmas tree (and she still isn't happy with it when she gets it home).

The only Christmas decorating I have done so far is decorating the tree.  I have boxes of decorations to put around the house but I always find better things to do when I get a free minute.

I wish I had more to blog about, but just like with Christmas decorating, I find other things to do, and when I do have time, I can't think of anything to say.

We got about 3 inches of snow Sunday and Monday, but my attempts at bundling up and going outside for a picture didn't turn out so well.  We stepped out onto the porch for maybe 30 seconds and that was 30 seconds too long for Isaac.

We still call Isaac "Little", but his new nickname is "Biscuit".  It started as Honey Biscuit and sometimes Biscuit Bean, but now it's usually just Biscuit.

Cash has lost much of his interest in the baby, but he loves when we get down on the floor with Isaac.  He takes that opportunity to beg for a belly rub.

Until next time, friends...
