Stuck

Despite the lack of posts this week, I did survive the game last week. It was close to 90 degrees, but R and I just happened to have tickets under an awning. It was perfect in the shade with a nice breeze blowing, and still had a great view of the field. We also had stadium-type seats with a back and armrests. My dad, brother, and SIL had seats in the full sun, on a hard bleacher bench crammed shoulder-to-shoulder with your neighbors. We left at haftime because they were miserable, although R and I could have easily lasted the whole game. Thankfully, dad snagged us the same tickets for the game tomorrow against our rivals, the Florida Gators.

I am blogging today from my parents' house. They had to go out of town Thursday and Friday and coincidentally Rodney had a conference here Thursday and Friday. We are staying here so he won't have to drive back and forth and also to pet-sit for my parents. We brought Cash with us and left the cats at home. Cash is adjusting ok, except when he goes out to use the bathroom. He is spoiled by quiet rural farm life and is not doing well with the new sights, smells, and sounds. He gets so distracted by the cars and people going by that he just won't go.

I got a call this morning from Mom who said that they may be stuck in Nashville because people are freaking out again and running out to buy gas. They can't find any gas near them and they only have 1/4 tank. This whole gas situation is really making me mad. That's all I have to say about that.
