Are you expecting?

This was the question asked of me by a lady at church yesterday. Excuse me? You don't just ask someone that. Trust me, I don't have a flat stomach or 6-pack abs, but I definitely don't think my stomach makes me look pregnant. Maybe she didn't think I looked pregnant, maybe she just thought that since we've been married almost 8 months it's time to start popping out babies.

Rodney was not with me when this happened, he had already left the building, but MIL was standing right behind me and heard the whole thing. We had a good laugh about it at lunch. Even though she is dying for grandchildren, I don't even think she would ask when we plan on having them. She just drops hints.

Come on people, give me a break. Yes, we definitely want kids someday, but let us enjoy being newlyweds for a while before our life changes completely.
