Homecoming

Baby Braden is coming home today!!! It's been 4.5 months after his incredible birth and he is finally strong enough to come home. I know Stephen and Stephanie are so excited. They will be homebound for a while because Braden still needs his trach and oxygen, but they're bringing their little boy home. I can't imagine leaving the hospital with him. I would be terrified. "What? The nurses aren't coming with us?"

Even though it is a wonderful day, there will be some sadness associated with it. They were originally hoping to bring home two babies. The cushion on the rocker in the nursery is made from Kaleigh's crib bedding. Please remember this family today as they ride a roller coaster of emotions.
