American Idol

I've been watching American Idol since Season 2. Have I always agreed with who America chose to be the winner? No. Do I agree this year? Yes.

I like American Idol and will continue to watch, but it's just not the same anymore. The judges are so biased and some things on the show are just ridiculous. Thank goodness for the DVR. The title of American Idol used to be such an honor, but the honor isn't quite there anymore. It seems like everyone gets a record deal, but I'm still glad that David Cook won and gets a little time in the spotlight. He's a great performer and is a fresh face to the title. It used to be that powerful, ballad-singing voices were the only ones who could win. Congratulations, DC!
