Now that Isaac is almost 2, we decided it was time to get him into some kind of program that will allow him to be around other children and away from me more, just to get him used to being in social situations. We found a highly recommended Parents' Day Out program at a church in town and signed him up in May to start this fall.
He is going 2 days a week, from 9-2:30. Tuesday was his first day. His best friend is also in his class, and so far he seems to like it. He can't tell me much about it, but his teachers say he has good days.
These pictures are from Tuesday morning before we left for his first day. He has a brand new monkey backpack and matching lunch box. He wasn't in the mood to take pictures and was watching something across the street. This was the best I could get.
