- Rodney had been growing a beard since the beginning of the year. He called it his "20 pound beard", because he didn't intend on shaving it until he lost 20 pounds. He was getting close, but his company was having photos taken for their new website, and he decided he better shave so he would look more professional. We went to get his haircut last weekend, and he hopped in the shower when we got home. I was taking care of Isaac, and I happened to think that Rodney had been in there for a long time, but I didn't think much of it. He finally came out and about 20 minutes later pointed out that he had shaved. I felt so bad for not even noticing! We'll just call that one "mommy brain".
- Another mommy brain moment happened today when I put Isaac's pants on and flipped him onto his front for tummy time. I saw pockets on his booty that were supposed to be on the front... oops!

- I don't care one tiny bit about Charlie Sheen and how crazy he is. Maybe I'm living under a rock, but I haven't been following this media frenzy, only hearing about it in bits and pieces. I just don't care that much about celebrities. It's like when everyone gets all crazy about Lindsay Lohan and her drama, I just don't care.
- We have been fighting a bad case of cradle cap for over 2 months now. The first pediatrician told us to use T-Gel, but after 2 uses, we just couldn't take the smell anymore. The second pedi told us to use Head and Shoulders and we also tried Mustela Foam Shampoo for Newborns. Nothing was working, so we've been using T-Gel again until our appointment next week so we can tell the pedi we tried everything and nothing is helping. It smells like a stinky old man and Rodney calls it T-Smell. I hate to admit it, but the T-Smell seems to work better than anything else we've tried. Unfortunately, it's still not the miracle cure, and I think our kid is destined for many more months of a flaky, nasty scalp.
- Did you know you can make baked potatoes in the crock pot? I didn't until this week when our e-mealz plan instructed me to do just that. After a few hours they smelled really good, but by the time 7 hours came and went, I was not in the mood for potatoes. It was the easiest baked potatoes I've ever made, and pretty darn tasty with our leftover soup on top of them.
I will leave you with an outtake from yesterday 4 month photoshoot.

I've read on the EFF bump board that Olive Oil and Selsun blue are supposed to work.
