15 weeks

Holy belly, Batman! When did I pop? Some time in the past week, I'm pretty sure. I went to my nephew's birthday party this weekend and got several comments on my "cute bump", which I was still pretty convinced was fat. I certainly didn't have a flat belly before pregnancy, and I felt that would make it harder to really tell when I was showing. Despite that, I have definitely noticed a difference this week, and my mind was made up this morning looking in the mirror and at this picture.

Speaking of the birthday party, I saw several family members who I haven't seen in a while, plus some of my SIL's friends who know I'm pregnant. If I could add an extra week for every time I heard the question "How are you feeling?" I would be full-term by now.

How am I feeling? So much better. I always heard that the second trimester is the best because you feel great and have energy, and that you should enjoy it while it lasts. So far I am loving the second trimester. Everything I heard is true so far. I'm not battling The Fatigue anymore, I'm hardly ever nauseous, and most days I don't even feel pregnant.

I had an appointment with the doctor on Friday, and everything seems to be fine so far. I scheduled my "big ultrasound" for June 11. We definitely want to find out if it's a boy or girl, but mostly we're just hoping to see a healthy baby.
