On Friday night we had a small get-together with our best friends Josh and Ginger to watch the Vols basketball team play a historic game. This team has been to the Sweet 16 on several occasions, but never made it to the Elite 8...until this weekend.
Hey guys, Tennessee just made it to the Elite 8 for the first time in history! How do you feel about that?
It was a monumental event, and making it one more round to the Final 4 would have been even better. Rodney and I anxiously watched the game this afternoon, and you probably don't want to see our faces now.
We lost the game by 1 point. One point kept us away from the Final 4.
To quote Josh's text message after the game...my heart hurts.
