For as long as I can remember, my family has gone to a Christmas tree farm about 30 minutes away and picked our own tree out of the field. I continued to go with my parents even when I was in college and didn't have a tree of my own. This is the first year that Rodney has gone with us, and the first year we were picking out a tree together. R's priority was getting a tree that would fit in our house; mine was getting a big, beautiful tree. In the end, we found the perfect one. It is very big, and I love it!
