four days

Rodney was off today, and we started our four day weekend with a bang.  We took Isaac to the city for a little shopping and lunch with my dad.  I need some new shorts (a smaller size!) and Old Navy's website was pretty sparse in many sizes, so I thought I'd try the store.  Not so much.  They had very few shorts, and what they did have were in sizes 0, 2 and 4.  It's July 1st!  It's way too early to be phasing out your summer clothes.  I was disappointed about the shorts, but we did get some much-needed babyproofing gear at BRU, so the day wasn't a total failure.

Isaac got a very short nap on the way home, and was super cranky because of it.  He has been on a bottle strike all week, drinking less each day, and today was by far the worst.  It stresses the mama out when the baby won't eat.  I put him down for a late nap when we got home (after an attempted bottle), so he also went to bed late.  It was worth it, though, because he was so happy and rested after that nap and we had some really good playtime after a day of being stuck in the carseat, high chairs, and the stroller.

Rodney went to the grocery store and brought me back a treat.

Peach Tea is my favorite Snapple flavor, and it seems we can hardly find it (or any Snapple) anywhere.  I was so excited!  I plan on enjoying my peach tea with my new People magazine in a nice hot bath.

Today was exhausting, but I hope days 2, 3, and 4 are just the same.
