Happy Easter

I have dyed Easter eggs with my mom every year for as long as I can remember. Even when I was in college, I would make her do it with me. Last year was my first Easter with Rodney, so I introduced him to my tradition. He loved it! We were pretty excited to do it again this year and somehow ended up with 4 dye kits. We actually used two of the normal kits and the tie-dye kit.

Last night we each hid eggs in half of the house and had a competition to see who could find the other's eggs faster. Up for grabs: our monthly date for May. If I won, I got to choose 2 dates for May, and if he won he got to choose our May date. Well, I won, but I almost feel bad. I think I hid mine in trickier places than he did. I told him he could use my extra date choice, but he refused it. I guess that's just his loss...

On a side note...it snowed here today. Well, not really snow. Just flurries. I'm looking out the window right now and I see the biggest flakes I've seen all day. Of course none of it is on the ground or roads, but it's still surprising. We've been having nice spring weather lately. We don't get much snow around here, but Mother Nature never fails to give us some white flakes in March.

For your viewing pleasure... our beautiful eggs and the white stuff falling from the sky.
